The Social Care Institute of Excellence (SCIE) has been commissioned by the Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (CSSA) to conduct a thorough review of the existing national safeguarding policies, practice guidance and supporting documentation currently available for the Catholic Church in England and Wales. As part of this review, SCIE want to hear from people across all areas and levels within the diocese, including parishes, religious orders, victims and survivors, clergy, parishioners, trustees, volunteers etc about their experiences of using existing safeguarding policies and practice guidance. This will enable them to take into consideration as many views as possible while they carry out the review.
This is an opportunity for everyone to help shape safeguarding within the Catholic church. If you would like to complete the survey please click HERE
The closing date for providing feedback is the 31st August 2023. Thank you for your help with this.
