In his message for World Day of the Poor 2022, Pope Francis reminded us of the meaning of solidarity: ‘sharing the little we have with those who have nothing, so that no one will go without’. Lent is a time of prayer, fasting and almsgiving in preparation for the resurrection of the Lord at Easter.
Caritas Plymouth has created a Lent Calendar to suggest ways in which we can use this time for prayer, reflection and action as the service of the poor.
