Around the world, Catholics are  taking action to protect creation but it can be difficult to know what to do. The month-long Laudato Si’ Animators course provided FREE online by the Global Catholic Climate Movement is running its next course later this month – 26th July

The course trains and inspires local volunteers to turn Catholic teaching on our climate and ecological emergencies into action. Animators come from all walks of life: students and retirees, clergy and lay people, experts and amateurs. As Pope Francis says in his encyclical, “Everyone’s talents and involvement are needed” to protect creation. (Laudato Si’ #14)

The training is comprehensive and can be completed at a time that suits you. It takes just a few hours a week and connects you with people around the world.  As a result of the course, you will  gain the confidence to design your own project for the Season of Creation (1st September – 4th October). You can sign up here  https://laudatosianimators.org/.

If you have any questions about the course please contact Deborah, caritas@prcdtr.org,uk, who completed the training earlier this year.

Caritas would like to create a network of Animators across the Diocese so please let us know if you sign up or have already completed the training.
