The urgent challenge to protect our common home includes a concern to bring the whole human family together to seek a sustainable and integral development, for we know that things can change.

Laudato Si #13

On Wednesday 17 May, Caritas Diocese of Plymouth is organising a day of reflection at Sclerder Abbey near Looe in Cornwall to pray and reflect on what more we can do as a diocese to be stewards of creation.  In 2021, the diocesan Trustees agreed our first Environmental Policy. In the run up to Laudato Si’ week, we want to hear what you think the church can do to reduce our impact on the environment and increase our care for creation.

All are welcome to join us at  this free event running from 10.30-15.30. A simple lunch will be included. Sclerder Abbey is a wonderful location and a great place for quiet reflection. There will be an opportunity to tour the garden and grounds and learn about the Abbey’s permaculture project.

Come along and be inspired! Please register your interest in attending or email caritas@prcdtr.org.uk.
