Caritas Plymouth to Launch in May 2019

– The Diocese of Plymouth joins the Caritas family

 

 

 

 

Bishop Mark has announced plans to launch Caritas Plymouth on  May 18th 2019.  An event to celebrate the Launch of Caritas Plymouth is due to take place in May at St Nicholas RC Primary School, Exeter. Speakers include Dr Phil McCarthy, Chief Executive of Caritas Social Action Network, Sean Ryan MBE, National Caritas Community Sponsorship Co-ordinator and Canon John Deeny, Vicar General. Outlined at the event will be the future plans for Caritas Plymouth including its priortise, charitable partners and aims for its first 2 years.

The presentation will be followed by a Holy Mass for the Launch of Caritas Plymouth which will be celebrated by the Right Reverend Mark O’Toole, ninth Bishop of Plymouth.
