We would like to share a selection of prayers and pictures created by pupils in schools from across the diocese to welcome our Bishop-elect, Bishop Nicholas Hudson. We don’t have space to share them all here, but have created a booklet with all the wonderful prayers and pictures Prayers for Bishop Nicholas.

We thank You for sending us our new Bishop, Nicholas,
a shepherd to guide and care for Your people.
Bless him with wisdom to lead us,
kindness to listen to us,
and joy as he serves You and Your Church.
Help us, the children of this school,

May we learn with his words and follow his example
of faith, hope and love.
Lord Jesus, be with our Bishop every day.
Give him strength in his work,
peace in his heart,
and friendship in our community.
