It was with great sadness that we heard on 22nd July that Fr Jon Bielawski had died in Nazareth House, Plymouth. Our sincere thanks to the Sisters of Nazareth; and condolences to his family, friends and parishioners who mourn for him.
Fr Jon Bielawski’s funeral will take place at Plymouth Cathedral at 12.00 noon on Thursday 27th August. His Requiem Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Nicholas.
His body will be received into the Cathedral at 4.30p.m. on Wednesday 26th August – the Feast of Blessed Dominic Barberi. Canon John Deeny, Dean of Plymouth, will celebrate a Requiem Mass at 6.00pm.
