Caritas Plymouth is encouraging all budding animators in the Diocese to sign up to become a Laudato si animator!

A new edition of the Laudato Si’ Animators course begins this April 19. This is a free leadership training program organized by the Laudato Si’ Movement that aims to bring the encyclical Laudato Si’ to the life of communities.

In the face of the worsening climate crisis our planet is going through, Pope Francis calls us Catholics to get involved: “Everyone’s talents and involvement are needed to redress the damage caused by human abuse of God’s creation” (LS 14). For this reason, I would like to ask you to spread this course in the community, so that many of the faithful will sign up and get involved.

It is a dynamic course, with a duration of six weeks, which is given online and at the time of each person’s choice. Each Laudato Si’ Animator has the tools to lead their community and carry out concrete actions to care for our common home.

People of all ages and from different regions of the world have already been trained and our community should also get involved. For more details, visit the website laudatosianimators.org and, if you have any questions, you can contact a representative of the Laudato Si’ Movement by sending an email to hello@laudatosimovement.org.
