We are excitedly preparing to celebrate the Ordination to the Permanent Diaconate of John Maguire and Anthony Reed on Sunday 20th September.
Bishop Nicholas Hudson will preside over this special ceremony, which will take place at St Mary’s Church in Poole at 4pm.
John Maguire and Anthony Reed will be ordained as Permanent Deacons, entering a ministry of service to the Church and its people.
The Ordination will be a joyful occasion for both John and Anthony and for the Diocese as a whole. It’s a timely opportunity for us to give thanks for vocations and for us to reflect on the many ways in which God continues to call people to serve Him.
Please pray for John and Anthony as they prepare for their Ordination, and for all those across the Diocese who are discerning what their vocation may be.
