Churches Together in Devon Winter 2010 Newsletter published

The Winter 2010 issue of the Churches Together in Devon Newsletter has been published and it contains a wide range of news, events and resources information.

The County Ecumenical Officer for Devon, the Revd Simon Taylor, is standing down from this post. In the Newsletter he writes: "By now many of you will have heard that at the end of February, 2010 I am standing down as Ecumenical Officer for Devon as I take up the pastorate of South Street with Brampford Speke Baptist Church, Exeter in March. In more than eight years as County Ecumenical Officer I reckon that I have covered more than 50,000 miles travelling around this beautiful county. I have seen some wonderful places, enjoyed worship in churches large and small, been involved in some brilliant events and met amazing, faithful, generous Christian people with a passion to make the love of Jesus known and to do it together. It has been an enormous privilege to serve the county and churches of Devon and I want to thank you for all the opportunities you have given me to work with you and for all the ways in which you have inspired and encouraged me."
