Celebrating Family - Is your home a holy place?

Several years ago, people in parishes across the country were invited to participate in 'Listening 2004: My Church My Family', an initiative of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales. Parishioners made many comments and suggestions and, in response to the findings, the Bishops launched the Celebrating Family project. Its first theme was Everybody's Welcome. The second one, Home is a Holy Place, has attracted funding from a benefactor to assist families in recognising the sacredness of their daily lives.

In the Plymouth Diocese, this funding has resulted in Jillian Wilce being appointed as Celebrating Family Project Co-ordinator to facilitate the sharing of the available resources in family, parish and school settings.
