Life is a national, non-denominational registered charity.

Many women and girls facing an unplanned pregnancy are pressured into an abortion whilst what they really need is the opportunity to be able to discuss their individual circumstances and to calmly consider alternative solutions to their problems.

Life offers such a Service, free of charge, through nearly 130 centres in the U.K. where confidential pregnancy testing is also undertaken. Counselling is also given to those suffering post abortion stress.

Life Houses provide mother and baby accommodation in many places in the U.K.

The Life Health Centre on Merseyside offers pro-life infertility treatment, a Baby Hospice and respite care.

There are Life Groups in:- Plymouth, Bournemouth, Poole, Shaftesbury, Weymouth,Wimborne, Newton Abbot and Cornwall. We need additional members and counsellors throughout the Diocese.
